If the pipes are clipped to an outside wall, those clips come off too so the pipes are not bent. A window AC is a single heavy box removed from a wall or window opening; the opening in the new place must be measured before the move to confirm the unit will fit, and condensation water inside must be drained before it is lifted out. A split unit has two separate parts joined by pipes with their own brackets, so the work is different at almost every step. Each type has its own service with the details matched to what you have.
Can I move just one AC without moving all my furniture?
