What exactly is taken off the wall when an AC is moved?
The indoor unit comes off its wall bracket, the outdoor unit is lifted off its mount or base, and the pipes running between them and the metal brackets holding the outdoor unit are all collected. If the pipes are clipped to an outside wall, those clips come off too so the pipes are not bent. What do I do at home before the team arrives to take the AC down?

How do I choose where to put the indoor unit in the new place?
