What exactly is taken off the wall when an AC is moved?
The indoor unit comes off its wall bracket, the outdoor unit is lifted off its mount or base, and the pipes running between them and the metal brackets holding the outdoor unit are all collected. A window AC is a single heavy box removed from a wall or window opening; the opening in the new place must be measured before the move to confirm the unit will fit, and condensation water inside must be drained before it is lifted out. A split unit has two separate parts joined by pipes with their own brackets, so the work is different at almost every step. Each type has its own service with the details matched to what you have.
