Questions about apartment, bachelor & family moving
What does apartment to apartment moving cover?
It covers wrapping every piece in stretch film and cardboard corner guards, taking apart large pieces that will not pass the door, moving them by the dyna truck and the pickup, and assembling them in the new flat. Send photos on WhatsApp and we will tell you exactly what your flat needs.
How is a large sofa moved when it will not pass the front door?
A sofa with a fixed frame is wrapped whole and tilted through the opening. A sofa made of separate sections is separated and each section is wrapped on its own. Measure the door width and send us the sofa's dimensions before the visit so we know the right method.
What do I clear out of the old flat before the furniture is collected?
Empty the drawers and cupboards and put the contents in closed bags or boxes. Clear small things off tables and shelves. If you have a large piece, measure the door width and the corridor and send those measurements on WhatsApp before the visit so we can plan how each piece will be carried out.
Is moving a bachelor flat different from moving a family flat?
The difference is in size and quantity, not in method. A bachelor flat may only need the pickup, while a family flat with several rooms may need the dyna truck or both vehicles together. Tell us what you have and we will choose the right vehicle.
How are pieces protected when the building has no lift?
When pieces travel on stairs, wrapping matters most. The edges are fitted with cardboard corner guards and the protruding parts are covered in stretch film before they are carried. Keeping the corridor clear of people and boxes also makes the carry easier.
What should I photograph before the move to avoid problems at assembly?
Photograph every large piece from all sides before it is taken apart, and photograph the wall it stood against so you remember connections and measurements. Put the screws and bolts in a small bag and tape it to the piece itself, so assembly in the new flat goes smoothly.
What if I want to move from one flat to another on a specific day?
Contact us in advance on WhatsApp or by phone and send photos of the furniture. We confirm the date once we know the size of the furniture and both addresses, so the earlier you reach out, the easier the planning is.
I am moving from Ath Thamamiyah to a flat in Riyadh. How long does the move take?
The time depends on how much furniture there is, the distance and the route. Call us or WhatsApp us and tell us what you have, and we will give you a quote based on the amount.
Do you assemble the furniture when it reaches Riyadh?
Yes. After transporting your furniture from Ath Thamamiyah to your new flat in Riyadh, we assemble it as you want it. Every piece stays wrapped in stretch film and cardboard corners until it reaches its new place.
