How do I prepare the cables of medical devices before the move?

Disconnect each cable and put it in a separate bag with a note of the device it belongs to. Photograph the back of the device before you disconnect anything, so the photo guides you when you reconnect at the new location. Coil small cables loosely and do not place anything heavy on top of them.

Does an examination bed need to be taken apart before it is moved?

It depends on the type of bed, its size and the width of the passage it must pass through. Send us a photo of the bed and of the entrance and corridor on WhatsApp, and we will tell you whether the legs or the backrest need to come off before it is carried.

What should I empty from medical cabinets before the move?

Take out all instruments and small supplies from drawers and shelves and put them in closed, named boxes you prepare yourself. Empty cabinets are lighter and easier to wrap, and there is less risk of contents shifting during the carry.

How are sensitive device screens wrapped?

A layer of stretch film covers the screen first, then cardboard corner guards are fixed to the edges before the piece is lifted. If the screen detaches from the device it is better to remove it and wrap it on its own; a photo of the device before the appointment tells us what is possible.

What do I do with a device that holds a database or internal memory?

Back up any stored data to an external source before the move, and check the files and settings once everything reaches the new location. The dismantling, wrapping and moving are what we handle.
