It depends on the bed's design, its size and the width of the door. Large upholstered beds often need the legs or the headboard removed before they can pass through a doorway. Send a photo of the bed and the door on WhatsApp and we can check before the day of the move.
What should I prepare in the room before dismantling starts?
Empty every drawer and shelf and take clothes and personal items out of the wardrobe. Pack small things into closed boxes. Clear the path from the room to the front door so nothing gets in the way of large pieces.
How do I check that the dressing table and its mirror will fit through the door?
Measure the width of the dressing table and the width of the door before moving day. If the mirror is screwed on, it comes off first and is wrapped separately. If the gap is tight, let us know on WhatsApp and we can work out the approach together before the appointment.
Do the dressing table drawers come off or stay in?
The drawers come out first, which reduces the weight and protects whatever is inside. The main frame is taken apart if it is large or if the door is narrow. Once apart, each section is wrapped on its own in stretch film with cardboard corner guards.
