Askan 1 is an organized residential district of Riyadh with flats and villas interspersed. A flat contains furniture where some pieces move easily and some need to be taken apart and reassembled. Light and basic pieces from a small sofa to shelves and tables work well for pickup delivery. Each piece is wrapped in stretch film and cardboard corner guards before it leaves the district, protecting its edges from friction in corridors and on stairs.

Questions about pickup for small loads
When is a pickup the right choice for a move?
A pickup suits a small load: a student's room, a sofa bought second-hand, a fridge, a desk, or a handful of pieces that would not fill a full truck. Send photos on WhatsApp and we will tell you which vehicle fits.
Is the pickup suited to districts with narrow streets?
A pickup is shorter and narrower than a large truck, so it moves more easily in narrow streets. Tell us the neighbourhood and the street when you send your request, and we will tell you what suits.
What do I say in my first message when I book the pickup?
Name the pieces you want moved, the floor you are moving from and to, whether there is a lift or a narrow staircase, and the district. A photo on WhatsApp saves a lot of description.
Do large pieces come apart before they are loaded onto the pickup?
Anything that needs taking apart, like a bed frame or a large desk, is dismantled before loading so it is smaller and less likely to catch on a door frame or a wall. It is put back together at the new address where you want it.
Can a fridge travel by pickup, and how is it protected?
Yes, a fridge travels by pickup. It is wrapped in stretch film to protect its surfaces and carried upright, because laying it on its side can damage the compressor. Empty it and unplug it well before the appointment.
How are second-hand pieces protected during the move?
A second-hand piece deserves the same care: stretch film around the surfaces and cardboard corners on the edges. Photograph the piece before it is loaded so you have a reference if you need one later.
I want to move a sofa and a table from Askan 1. Is the pickup enough?
Yes, if the sofa and table are just a few pieces, the pickup carries them wrapped in stretch film and cardboard corner guards to your new address. Call us and send photos of the furniture.
How do you move furniture from flats in Askan 1 without damaging the walls and stairs?
Every piece is wrapped in stretch film and cardboard corner guards before moving. The edges protected by cardboard prevent friction against walls and stairs.
